I emailed my concern to MyHeritage about the free time and File Space of names, they lowered it to 250. it is still less then Ancestry.com. And yes, the layout is nicer with Ancestry but, again, the cost. I suggest to MyHeritage they offer incentive's to the paid subscribers like myself and others when a relative from their tree or another separate person is refereed and makes a purchase above the free space with examples of 250 free more names etc... They keep changing the rules. I am sure it is due somewhat to the economy and some to just doing business. I really enjoy MyHeritage.com also.

I have my tree on My Heritage and Ancestry.com but I like My Heritage much better. The ease of posting pictures, love the reports so easy and everyone has a picture. I can't say enough about the program. The book reports amazing! I look for records on Ancestry.com and then enter them on My Heritage more work but worth it. Only wish I knew how to get the source entered on My Heritage like it does on Ancestery. My Heritage is my main tree.

MyHeritage is a lot less money then any genealogy site that I can find. Ancestry.com charges a month about what MyHeritage charges a year. If you exceed 500 names then they want money, Ancestry.com wants money up front with no names. Keep both if you can ford Ancestry.com. It is a great website though.

I joined this website 2 years ago. It is free for a certain number of names and info. I have prepaid 2 years due to a large number of names Ive added. I can assist you if you need help FREE= http://www.myheritage.com/site-35391462/the-henry-clan-via-scotlandcanadamaine-etc Please do not get discouraged if some one says that the dates etc... are not correct. If the name is and the dates are approximate, sooner ar later you probably get the correct dates.

I started genealogy study from MyHeritage first and then I moved to ancestry.com I am no longer able to publish the family study on MyHeritage because they are asking money for each name study. How can you aviod that?

What I love about MyHeritage is that I can easily send GEDCOM files to friends and family who do not have programs that can read them. They can easily download MyHeritage from the site and then open up my GEDCOM file. It's a fabulous tool!

Hello and welcome to MyHeritage group.

Here I will keep you posted on what goes on in the front line and behind the scenes at MyHeritage.

To start from the beginning and for those that still don't know, our main office is located in a picturesque Templar estate, over 100 years old, in the village of Bnei Atarot in Israel. Peaceful and green, yet only a ten minute drive from Israel's international airport, and conveniently located between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. A great working environment for a genealogy company, or any company for that matter.

Today we also have an office in London, England and we are more than 35 people from all over the world working together and developing the coolest and most amazing tools to help you build, share, research and expand your family tree with the latest technology.

I will start writing about all this technology in the next posts.

Best regards
