I am a new member and my ancestry are Motts. I am a novice and have got back to Mary Catherine Josephine Quill De Longford ne 1838-40 from Co. Kerry Ireland and George Henry Mott a warehouseman and retired dock clerk ne 1838-40 Knightsbridge died 1909 London  with father William Mott. George Henry married Mary Quill in 1859 Islington ( I think.). Any help would be welcome as I am now a bit stuck tracking George Henrys correct parents.

Kind regards and a happy new Year to all

Vashti Mott b. abt 1780? married John Palmer in 1797. Their children were: Mark, Miranda, John, Sarah, Austin, and Rufus. From the information I have is that she was early in New York and that she died in 1705. Who were her parents and from where?

My 11th great grandfather was Adam Mott, born 8/12/1596 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. He died in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, 8/12/1661. Adam's wife was Elizabeth Creel. Before Adam's father, John Mott, I have only 2 more generations earlier, and those have sketchy details for dates and places. Does anyone out there know more? Cheryl Gross
