Surname Ellis
My Great Great Grandmother, Kate Ida Ellis Napier. I know about her, but her father is listed as Whit Ellis on her death certificate. She lists no mother on there. Kate was born 10 Jan 1879 in Crisp County, Georgia. And she died in Frost Purth, Polk County, Florida on 22 Feb 1959.
Any leads on her mother and father are greatly appreciated--As of right now, all I know is her fathers name.

Her legal name was Kate Ida Ellis. Ive searched into the Catherine D. Ellis, but Its not her. Im not sure on a wedding date. But I do know their 1st child was born in november of 1900 in Dooly County Georgia. I only know of one sibbling for Kate. And that would be Minnie "Millie" Ellis. She was born 8 Nov 1882 in Dooly County Georgia.
Granny Kate, married Morning Washington Napier in Dooly County, Georgia--no dates avaliable. Mornings parents were John William & Mary Ellen "Elifair" Sangster Napier. -
