Dulanty family

Catharine Dulanty born Jan 1842 claimed to be from Galway, Ireland. 

Possible that Mary Ann Alcock born 1824 Washington co, OH came to Iowa in 1850 and married Benjamin Jeffries in Ottumwa, IA.

This couple 'Adopted" Catharine in Cleveland and had her living with them in 1856 Iowa Census for Ottumwa

The Jeffries family came to Iowa before 1850 and the Alcock family came in 1852.

The Dulanty family of  Cleveland area know of no connection with the Jeffries, Allcock or McClure families. 

I have a picture of Catharine taken in 1890's and one in 1935.  I look so much like her.

I would like to find the truth about who her parents are and any relatives on her line.
