Morris from Leigh Lancashire England

JOSEPH MORRIS b.abt 1831 in St Helens, father name John.  Married MARY MATHILDA RAWLE in 1873 at Ashton Under Lyne. Children were: Mary Jane 1875, Elizabeth 1876, James 1878, Eliza 1879, Nelson 1881. Susan 1883, SAMUEL 1885.

There was another child, Catherine Ellen Morris b.1871, I think this older child was from a first marriage but am unable to trace the mother. Have Catherine Ellen in the 1881 census with family and birth place listed as Lancashire Edinburgh.  No such place I have tried finding it.

SAMUEL was my grandfather, he was born in Leigh Lancashire, where my father STANLEY MORRIS was born 1909, along with his siblings: Gladys 1911, Doris 1914, John.1919.
