Will, basically the two groups I mentioned overlap your subject matter/time period, I don't see any major reason to post the same messages here, all people have to do is use the search feature in the upper right hand corner. They are here on Genealogy Wise. I was mainly trying to get the other 14 people on this group to say something - anything. I cannot understand why people join groups like this and never say anything or contribute and then complain that they cannot find out anything on their ancestors. Genealogy is generally a two-way street, or at least the genealogists I have always hung around with are that way. I do appreciate your response re: the SPENCERS. I am descended from one of the 4 brothers who came over to the US. I am amazed how many have gotten the family traced back to nobility without any documentation. I read that there was a study done of genealogies posted on the internet that there was a 50% error rate. Just looking at a few of my families posted on RootsWeb-WorldConnect it is more like a 90+% error rate. It would be nice if we could all get stuff corrected and go from there. Sorry, I digress. Anyway, I am fascinated how people are related/connected & I just think it is sad people don't take advantage of sites like these. Thanks, Jim.

I did respond to your post on the Spencer family. I don't know anything about those other two groups you mentioned. Maybe you could post your detailed questions right here.

Hello, is anyone out there? 16 members & no idea who is searching whom. If we are to learn we must ask questions.

Jim.

I've posted several queries on both the Royalty-Blue Blood Families & Medieval English Genealogy groups on this web site. If anyone has anything to add to them it would be appreciated, thanks, Jim.
