Searching for More Information on Barnett
Hello to all,
I am searching for information on Richard Barnett . According to Family Search he was born 1846 in Provincetown, Barnstable, Massachusetts. On Ancestry his birth date is given Aug, 1844 in Massachusetts, He married a Lucinda J Campbell in abt 1866. Settled in Woonsocket, RI. They had two daughters Mabel and Maud. I have all their information and Lucinda's also.
Richard was a grocer for most of his life in Woonsocket, RI. He died in 1929 and is buried in a historical cemetery nearby as is Lucinda and their daughters.
My query is trying to find Richard's correct date of birth and where in Massachusetts he was born. Most importantly I would like to find the names of his parents I am trying to connect him to a direct line of Barnetts who came from Wiltshire, England in 1842 and 1853 settling in nearby Massachusetts.Then came to Woonsocket, RI. Massachusetts Vital Records does not show a Richard Barnett.
If someone has a subscription to NEHGS could you please take a peak to see if his name and birth come up and most importantly his parents names. Would be ever so grateful.

Update to previous post. I now have Richard Barnett's death certificate. It shows he was born Aug 12, 1844 in Charlestown, Massachusetts. His parents are William Barnett (place of birth unknown). and is wife Ann last name unknown as is place of birth. I have searched quite a few places and still have not been able to locate the place of birth of William and/or Ann.
I have everything going forward but have not been able to go backward on Richard. Any help or suggestions appreciated.
