Hi Robert! My name is Lee Beedle and I am also trying to gather information on my g-grandmother, Annie Orea Wolford. She married my g-grandfather, Earl Norman Moats. She is the only Wolford I have anything on. Does the name sound familiar to you. I'm not sure if she was born in Washington County, but she was listed in the 1910 Census as a resident. Good luck on your search!

Robin--
I moved our conversation over to Hawver Families, where it seems more relevant (and more like to draw some new respondents)

One of my brick "walls" is the Walls family, possibly from the upper Eastern Shore. Julia Ann Walls married Samuel Mallalieu. Their children were born around Millington, Md., in Queen Anne's County. I know very little about Julia.

Dennis,
Oops, change that to the other trees showing Rebecca Sneider to be the spouse of a George Hawver born in 1769. They are shown as the parents of Daniel H, the father of my Susannah.
