I posted four generations of the Descendants of James Lyle and Hannah Crawford at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~jeangene/Lyle/ years ago. It has been updated, needs further renewal, but has a lot of information and sources on this Lyle line that reached Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania by 1810. There is also information on the possible ancestors of this James Lyle.
