I am researching Thomas, Nickols/Nichols, Spencer, and Hiskett/Heskett in Loudoun county, from abt 1763-1829. I am particularly interested in finding a marriage record for Benjamin Adam Hiskett/Heskett. I suspect that he had a first marriage between 1800 -1805 when his son, Norval Valentine Hiskett was born. I have checked in an index to early Virginia marriages, and found nothing. Can anyone give me any ideas where I might look to find an early marriage record or some other mention of this marriage?
