Hello.  I can not find my Father's family in the 1930 Census.  I'm hoping maybe someone may be able to help, who may have the resources.  They lived in Horsham, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Their Post Office may of been in Bucks County, Chalfont or maybe Eureka.  The family is:

Peter M. Henry born 1891 PA

Mary Henry b. 18901 PA

children:  Peter M. b. 1916 PA, twins John & Mary b. 1919, Lawrence b. 1923, Milton b. 1924, Rebecca b.  1925, William b. 1926, and Dorothy b. 1928.

They also, may of had foster children living with them.  One more thing, before living in Horsham, they were living in Philadelphia, on Devon Street, where I found them in the 1920 Census.  Thank you.

I am researching Christopher (Christoffell) Turnpaugh (Dornbach) (abt 1735 - abt 21 Aug 1805).  The earliest record I have for him is from Jacob Lischy's Pastoral Record indicating the baptism of his son, Görge Dornbach in 1755 in York, PA.  Immigration lists only show that he took an Oath of Allegiance in 1760 but that was in order to acquire land in Maryland.  I have documentation of his life after 1760 in Maryland but no information as to his parents and birth (America or Germany?) and residence in Pennsylvania.  I would sincerely appreciate assistance with this.  As for the assistance I can offer to anyone in this group, I have access to the Maryland Historical Society library and am willing to do look ups, etc.

Hi Group:  My name is Mike and I live in New Westminster, BC Canada.  I am not sure sure if I am allowed to post this or not so please .. I am willing to do look ups in the Vancouver Sun, The Province or The Columbian, I do not charge for my time but I do charge of transportion (bus fare will be $7.50) plus copying and postage if needed. As well I can get photocopies of the Vital Records that are on the BC Archives web site. Just leave me a message and I will see what I can find for you.

I wonder if anyone can help me? I have an ancestor called William E Eldershaw. He was in the RAMC in 1917 (I have found a copy of his record.) He married a Mary Walker in 1917 and appears to have married again in @1949 to a Miss Brown. I am particularly interested in contacting anyone who has this gentleman in thier family tree.
