I think the rule o fthumb will need to be if a person is related or has genealogical information as you have noted then the names and the researcher names can be listed. Thanks for the clarification.

There may not be a relationship, but I have a great deal of information on these people, so I can help others who may be interested. Perhaps best to leave things as they are. I don't think the ORIGINS index is complete yet. Certainly the three that I just sent were not on when I looked before.

I found there are discrepancies between the Cliff Webb books and the entries at ORIGINS. I believe that it is possible the Masters which are in Webb's books may not be at ORIGINS. I have found some apprentices that were in his books and not on ORIGINS. Thanks for getitng back to me on this. Would you prefer I note that as posted by perhaps with a footnote indiating no relationship? Or, do you think a note that says relations need to be determined?

Not mine exactly, Denise, part of my One Name Study. Almost all of these are from the same family that originated in Staffordshire and I am in touch with descendants of the families but not of these Freemen who seem to have no male descendants and few female ones, apart from the Lighterman. I went to the Guildhall Library some years ago and looked up the Cutlers books, but it doesn't look as though I shall be able to go again in the near future. However, I keep up to date with my quarterly free 72 hours on British Origins, having been a member of the SOG for many years.

Ann - I updated the list. The details wil be in your comments for future reference. What a great heritage you have! Ae you familiar with all the different record types available? If not, let me know if I have already sent you information on this.

I just found three more:

Thomas Duncalfe Founders' Company 1662 from Yorkshire
Henry Duncalfe Vintners' Company 1693 - from Staffordshire
William Francis Duncalfe Blacksmiths Company 1794 from London

The last two are the same family as the Edward, Isaac and Simon in the Cutlers company - Henry was their brother and William Francis was a very distant cousin.

Done. My middle name is spelled like yours also. You would think I would get this. :>)

Like you Denise, busy today, and tomorrow, standing behind a bookstall at a local Agricultural Show (Heritage Tent). Just to say that the entries are correct but I have an "e" (Anne).

Please check to see I have your entries correct and complete. I am listing the the Livery Companies and try a "wrap" on the Inns of Court for now to see if it will be easier to use over time. I am at a conference and will make corrections and updates as possible.
