Genealogy Wise

The Genealogy & Family History Social Network

The evidence-based genealogy software, Lineascope, has been updated. Here are the changes in this version:

Names of individuals can now be researched just like any other characteristic. Also, alias characteristics have been moved to appear under the name row in the Subject table on Individual Sheets. (thanks for the suggestions Linda!)

The term “Undocumented” has been changed to “unproven” to better reflect the state of the characteristic or event. Unproven attributes are now displayed in italics and the text is grey to provide a clearer visual indicator of the status.

After adding a single characteristic or event, the characteristic or event sheet (respectively) for the newly created attribute will be displayed. Adding more than one at a time will result in you being directed to the Individual Sheet just as before.

Added validations to warn you if a citation or source link is too long (greater than 499 characters).

Let me know what you think.

This is a great program you are giving us. I went to the Family History Computer Conference in Salt Lake a couple weeks ago & told one of my classes about it. There was "mucho" interest. Thank you.
