Can I still get all the up-dates to my legacy 7.0 CD if I want to put it on my new

computer to make it the latest version of 7.5 and how do I go about it?

Thanks

Margi,

When you open Legacy 8, you will see the icon for charting on your toolbar.  You don't need to open Legacy 7 for charting.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for your help. I do have the new icon for 8, but I still have an old icon for Legacy Charting 7 plus the Icon for ver. 7. Do you still use the Charting 7?

Margi,

You should have a blue circle with an "L" on it for your icon.  Do not use the old one for Legacy.  The new icon should be on your desktop.

After much work (with the help of a co-worker), I was able to install ver.8. I noticed that from ver 7.0, I have an incon for Legacy Charting 7. Do I still use that or is there one for ver.8? What also made it hard for me was that I needed a new computer so I went from Vista to Win. 7.

Thanks for you help.

Leonard if you look at the news above the listings you will get an explanation of why it does not work it should show up on the home page of your program also.

Since yesterday the familysearch integration feature has not been working for me. Also yesterday I installed the latest update to ver. 8. Not sure if the problem began before or after the update install. Help please.

Back in Oct I started prep. for L#& -Ran a Potential Prob. Report and due to extended illness am just getting back to this (3/2014) and finished all the correction - went to run a new report, but got the same OLD one.  I can see all the changes I made in the family files what why not an up to day Pot. Prob. Rpt??.  What did I do wrong.  Help!

Carolyn it may just be as simple as the screen resolution on your desktop not being set properly. I am sure once you set it the problem will go away.
