Thanks for the invitation Sherry! I have not gotten very far in my Lawson research yet know my connection is to Sarah "Sally" Lawson (born abt 1797 in VA). She married George W. Anderson and they were parents to my 3xs gr-grandmother Louisa Anderson. Louisa married John A. Forgey. The Forgey line has been the one I have been spending the most time on up to this point. I've seen info. from other researchers that Sarah Lawson married Jacob Roller Jr. and moved with him from Scott County VA to Missouri. As I mentioned, I have not gotten far on this line.
Thanks-
Christy

I actually had the opportunity to visit Scott County, VA last week and visited the Lawson Confederate Cemetery. After seeing all the Lawsons buried there and especially William Lawson's, I would like to research this line further. I have seen a Sarah "Sally" Lawson (who seems to match mine with dates and places in VA) listed as daughter to Travis and Martha "Maysie" Simpkins. I haven't seen anything attached to her beyond that. My Sarah Lawson married George W. Anderson (who I have seen in a few places was hanged as a Union spy). She later married a Roller and moved to MO. George W. Anderson and Sarah Lawson were the parents of Louisa Anderson -- and so the story goes as listed above.
With this extra tidbit I now have, does this sound familiar to anyone?
Thanks so much for anything you may have-
Christy
