Hello:
I am attempting to locate the parents of Stephen LANGTON who married Elizabeth HOLMES in Stafford, STS, 21 Nov 1785. Checked P.R.s of Stafford, but no baptisms for either he or Elizabeth. They had 2 sons in STS (1786-88), moved to Heanor, DBY, and had 3 children there (1791-97) and then to Papplewick, NTS, and another child born in 1799 (she died in 1802). A Stephen LANGTON was buried in Papplewick 27 Oct 1801, but it is not clear if this was the father or the son Stephen bapt. 1788. Most of Stephen's children as adults lived in Bulwell, NTS, and were FWKs. No death for Stephen or Elizabeth in the Bulwell P.R.s. I'll have to go back to the lostlangton web site again, it has been a while.

Best wishes,
Judy
