Elizabeth Kinne/Kinney Jones 1789-1861 CT to NY to WI

The book, 1912 Walworth County, WI History, page 531, states Elizabeth's grandparents were Gideon and Thankful Hewitt Kinne and that her father was Stephen Kinne. I have not found proof that Stephen was Elizabeth's father. But there is a family history written by Moses Kinney's grandson, Orson A. Kinney in the 1870's that states Betsey was the daughter of Moses and Adah Kinne Kinne. She was born in 1789 and died in Delavan, WI. Does anyone have proof of who Elizabeth's (Betsey) parents are?
