I am a Kimball.  Not sure if any information is true or not but my Kimball blood possibly goes thru England into Canada then America.  I can prove my Canadians and my Americans.  The photo is supposedly my James Milmine Kimball.  It was shared with me with no source.  Happy Hunting

I'm connected to the Kembles of Inworth/Southminster and later London then even more recently back to Essex (Ilford).  Anyone who is related to this branch please contact me.  Also not sure where they were before they appeared in Inworth.

Cliff... William Kemble (b c1776) m. Sarah Everet (b. c1777) 17.4.1796 Inworth. They had 9 children between 1797 and 1818 all born in Southminster. Some stayed in Southminster and others moved to London; some of next generation born in St Lawrence Newland, Paglesham, Foulness, Gt Wakering, etc... some of these later moved to Southend. I have found most of them on various census records between 1841 and 1901. Many of the women became servants and didn't marry.

hi Cliff-

The earliest Kimball I can confirm is a James Kimball, born circa 1828 in Louisiana, I believe his father was a Frederick Kimball, of Mississippi, (from the 1880 census). James was married an Emily(Emelia Kay of French Ancestry, I believe)

My Great Great Grandfather was James' son, Oscar P. Kimball, born 1862, in Louisiana. He married Agnis/Agnes LaCour around 1894 in Texas. Their daughter Agnes Adaline Kimball was born 1896.

I know where some of my Kimballs are buried(including James, Emily and Oscar)-

In 1850 James is living in his mother's household(an assumption since no relationship is listed) in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.

Thank you for the lookup-
Kate

I have a database of over 25,000 records for the Kemball surname - including the variant Kemble. Surprisingly I have only a few Kembles in the early 1800s for Southminster and none for Great Wakering or Inworth. I would be very interested in some more information about your Kemble family to see if I can be of any help.

I would be interested to know which Kimball family in America you are researching. I have a copy of the 1897 book "History of the Kimballs of America from 1634 to 1897 and of its ancestors the Kemballs or Kemboldes of England". If you do not already have the information I can look your Kimball family up. It is in two books and a total of 1,278 pages.

I am researching the Kemble family from around Southminster and Great Wakering, Essex and also Inworth going back to around 1770s.
