I am looking for descendants of Dennis Kelly, from my research he was in kentucky and tennessee. He has a son, who doesnt show up on anything I can find (supposedly got in trouble with the law and was disowned) Calvin Kelley who came to Texas.

Looking for any information on John Kelly 1826 (ish) born Droheda, Ireland -married Mary Colville who was born in Scotland. John and Mary married in 1846 in Liverpool. On the marriage certificate it gives John's father as Philip - Manager Cotton Factory but have not been able to find anything out about him or find him on the cencus. Have cencus details of John and Mary living in Liverpool, Chester and Flintshire. They appear to have had 7 children in Liverpool - I presume at least one died as there are two Johns. They also had 3 born in Chester which included my husband's G. Grandfather James who later went out to South Africa and married Annie Thornley.

Yes - I am in England. While my John KELLY stayed in England - one or more of his descendants may well have crossed the pond. I'll see what I can find. Chris

Christopher, are you in England? Did your John Kelly or any of his descendants come to America?

I have a John Kelly in my line but he was in America (Virgina and Alabama)abt the time yours was baptised.

I've traced my KELLY roots back to John KELLY, baptised in 1743 in Iddesleigh (Devon, England).
