Hi Ruth, I just looked up your connection... Very cool! We'd love some help fleshing out our tree on that side if you're interested. I belong to a tiny group called the Skeleton Closet Genealogical Society, our link to the Keffer family is through Goldie Diceman and Gilbert Keffer. We basically collect as much as we can and publish it on our website so it's available to the public. Photos, stories, you name it we’ll post it. You can find us at http://www.snowstones.com

Found your forum through Brenda. Susanna Keffer Burkholder was the sister of my husband's great-grandfather. Husband Howard was working for Vaughan twp when that book was written ... if you have it you will find him listed in the back.

Hi Jean! Yes my children's paternal line is Keffer whom went from PA to Vaughan area Ontario. I have the history book done on that twp which I think is awesome. I wrote part of his migration out on my web: http://ks-gt.blogspot.com and there are many records documented there but I don't think the direct line is there. Would love to share what I can. Thanks for the note, Brenda

Hello from the Canadian Keffers :)
We research family names such as Keffer, Line, Diceman, Stone, Oster, Quantz, Julian, Murray and Watson... As well as many, many more. If your Keffers originate from the Maple or Vaughan area of Ontario, chances are we're cousins of some sort! We'd love to hear from anyone with more information and we assist all researchers as much as possible. We look forward to hearing for you!
