I am researching ancestors from Bohemia/Austria (now the Czech Republic) and Poland who emigrated to America before the Civil War:ABELS, LEDERER, POSNER, and SCHLAMM who settled in New York and New Jersey and family members who emigrated from Russia in the late 19th century named BERMAN and LEAR who settled in New Haven,Connecticut. I would be delighted to share information with cousins.

I am researching : GREIF, LECHNER, SCHIESEL, ZWECKER, SEGAL, LEIBOWITZ, ADLER, TURNER, BRECHER and BARTFELD. Except for SEGAL and LEIBOWITZ who come from Romania, the others are all from the Bukovina area.
Would so appreciate hearing from anyone researching any of these names.
