I am researching Jackson's from the Menifee County Kentucky area. My great uncle was Crayton Jackson, Grandpa was Talmadge Dewitt Jackson, Grandmother was Dorothy Irene (Beecraft) Jackson. Talmadge Dewitt Jackson had brothers named Ray and Orba in addition to a sister; Daisy. There is one other brother, which I can't remember at this time, but is known as J.B.

Hi! I am researching Jackson and Rogers surname.
Andrew L. Jackson b. 1865 in Ms. (his father from GA, mother from AL).
Andrew L. Jackson married Ida M. ROGERS 1886
Ida M. ROGERS b. 1866 in AK (however I have seen her birthplace as LA., or Mo. also.)
1900 census they are in Altus, Franklin, AK. with 6 children.
Note: I have more info on the JACKSON surname I will gladly share!
I have no info on the parents or siblings of Ida M. ROGERS (my ggrandmother). She was said to be part Cherokee Indian. Ida M ROGERS JACKSON possibly died in Oklahoma @ 1923. I am searching for ANY little bit of info on Ida M. ROGERS.

My Jackson were Free Persons of Color in Fredericksburg Virginia. James Jackson, and his mother Sylvia were slaves to Charles Yates. James was freed in 1811, when after the death of Yates. James Jackson married Patty Bowden, who had two sons before their marriage, (Samuel & William Jackson). Samuel Jackson is my direct ancestors through his daughter Elizabeth Jackson (also born in Fredericksburg). Elizabeth Jackson had a sister Anne Jackson-Lewis, and a brother Walter Jackson. Anne Lewis moved to Chicago, and Walter moved to Washington DC, prior to the Civil War.

If anyone has information on Anne Jackson Lewis, or Walter Jackson, please contact me.
