My dad's 2nd great-grandmother, Mary McDue (daughter of John & Sicily W. McDue of Ireland) was born in Ireland about 1826. She immigrated to Upper Canada (Ontario) and married Dudley Wade in 1842. I would love to learn more about her ancestors.
On my mom's side, James Cauldwell and his wife, Mary Gaston Cauldwell, immigrated from Ireland to New Jersey abt. 1732. Mary's father was an immigrant to Ireland from Scotland, and I'm pretty sure his family was originally French. I don't know anything about James' ancestry yet.

F v Margaret Mairs was born in 1855 in Belfast N. Ireland. She died on 2 Jan 1926.
F vi Rebecca Mairs was born in 1859 in Belfast N. Ireland. She died on 12 Jun 1907.
F vii Rachel Mairs was born in 1863 and died on 12 Apr 1928.
F viii Elizabeth Mairs was born in 1866 in Belfast N. Ireland. She died on 27 May 1936.
M ix Samuel Johnston Mairs was born on 7 Jan 1866 and died on 23 Dec 1932.
F x Mary Agnes Mairs was born in 1868 in Belfast N. Ireland. She died on 11 Sep 1918.

My husband & I just returned in May from visiting family in Ireland. Not returning until next year! Sad. I'm researching McDowells, Craigs, & McAlisters, in County Louth. Then I'm just starting to research CUNNINGHAM in Moyad, County Down, & MELLEY or Melly or Malley in County Donegal, probably Glenties. Visit my page to view Ireland photos.

I am researching Thomas Costello, born Galway, Ireland 26 Dec 1842 (mother was mary Finn) d. 14 March 1912 in Colfax Co., Nebraska. According to cemetery records he was born in Cwrittehin, County Galway. That is such an odd spelling. Anybody know what it could/should be?
