ICAP Test

I recall from the ICAPGEN conference that there was some discussion about making the "Test" part of the accreditation process more accessible - perhaps even offering it on line.  I think the main…Continue

Transcription and translation

I have a question I haven't found addressed. When working on the transcription portion of a submission, when there are many entries on a page, does one transcribe the entire page, or simply the…Continue

Second Wife Lines

As I prepare my four generation project, I realize that I come through the second wife of my second great grandfather. Am I required to include the first wife and her children in the report? Do I…Continue

Do we need to re-register if we are already registered? I haven't seen anything indicating whether it needs to be redone- maybe I missed it. I am enjoying the information and discussions and would feel bad if I miss out. Thanks for all you are doing.

I encourage all of you to register at our new website: www.icapgen.org
Only those that are registered will continue to receive Mentoring emails and updates. The "Forum" area is a great place to find others researching in your same area. You may wish to trade some research projects in order to gain experience in all the states in your US region or International area.

I just sent it to Tristan to put on the website. Maybe it will be there tomorrow.

Probably a question that has been asked before; if so, I'm sorry. Where do we find the international version of the experience pages? I can only find the link for US/Canada form.

Washington D.C. is part of the Mid-Atlantic area. We are trying to be consistent with the areas including a list of states. Because Washington D.C. is not a state you do not need to create an experience table for Washington D.C. in the Mid-Atlantic area.

In the mentoring class handouts Washington D. C. is listed in the Mid-Atlantic region, but on the new ICAPGen site Washington D. C. is not listed in the Mid-Atlantic region. What information is correct?

The luncheon is closed. Tickets had to be purchased by 12 April.

Pre-registration for the conference is closed but on-site registration will be available starting Tuesday. Registration will be located in the West Upper Mezzanine level of the Salt Palace convention center.

At our mentoring class on Tuesday, they encouraged us to go to the ICAPGen luncheon at the NGS Conference. Is there another way to sign up and pay for the luncheon since the NGS site has closed registration?
