This weekend I am teaching 2 classes on Hispanic genealogy at the ICAPGen conference (BYU - Provo, UT). The classes are:

1. Online Hispanic Resources

and

2. The Genealogy Conceptual Model and Hispanic Research

My question for the group is: if you were attending a genealogy conference what Hispanic research topics would you like to see? I'd love your feedback - who knows you may see a class on your desired topic at a conference near you someday...

Hi Lynn,
Congratulations for your classes at the ICAPGen conference this coming weekend ! I wish to be there but is difficult times now (economy). However I'm sure this will be a great class as all your classes and conferences.
I would like to find the following Hispanic research topics on Genealogy conferences.
Hispanic research before 1600 on Latin America.
Immigration patterns on Latin America (each country if is possible)
The importance of Kinship practice in Latin America for genealogy purposes.
Old private archives on Latin America and the way to find and explore this resources efficiently.
How to build an effectively web of same surnames on Latin America (as works in USA).
Well Lynn, I need to let more space for other people too. Thanks for all you are doing for Our Hispanic/Latino people. And congratulations for your boy coming in February ! ! ! ! God bless you.
