Let me see if I can do this from my memory without looking at my tree, I believe it was their sons Eli Carrington, and William.  These brothers were both my g-g-grandfathers, since their children Charles Michael (Eli) and Catherine Jane (Wm) married & were 1st cousins.  Mike & Katie's oldest son, Brackie was my mom's father.

Please refresh my memory. Which child of Nancy Ann & James William Bowie do you descend from? His parents were William Bowie & Meriah"Maria" Windham/Windom(spelled both ways).They are buried in the Mt. Herman Cemetery in Dover Twp.,Union Co.,OH. Her parents were: George Windham & Mary Card. We are in discussion now about who William's parents were.I have some more on the Windams & Cards if you want it. I'll send it to your e-mail. Let me know OK?

Pam, Nancy Ann & James Wm Bowie were my g-g-g-grandparents.  Though I haven't done any research on her ancestors, I thought I might get some hints for the Bowies, and her family, here.  I'm grateful for any info I find as I search around.  Of course, there is hardly anyone still living who remembers my grandparents, let alone this far back.

My husband's branch of the Hearn family moved from N.Carolina, to Tennessee, to Missouri to Texas to near Riverside, California.  His grandfather was Marcus Marion Hearn, great grandfather, Levi.

My 2xgreat-grandmother was Nancy Ann Hearn. She was born in 1817 in Washington Co.,OH. the daughter of Daniel Hearn & Elizabeth"Betsy"Wilson. Nancy Ann Hearn married James William Bowie on 21 May 1842 in Washington Co.,OH. My brick wall is: I don't know anything about her mother's Wilson family or for that matter Betsy either. Daniel & Betsy Hearn had moved to OH. from Sussex Co.,DE. His parents were:Nehemiah Hearn & Jain Callaway.
