My grandmother Dorothy Marie Vollmer was adopted by Henry Jacob Vollmer and Stella Theresa HARRIS. They had a naturally born son who was a Catholic priest. My grandmother was born in 1914.

I am hoping someone here has some reference to a Stella Theresa HARRIS in their records, as I have nothing on thier lineage.

Samuel Thomas Jefferson Harris, lived in Platte Co, MO in early 1840's. He had three boys starting about 1837, the oldest being born in KY. I have reached a road block as to his first wife and his parents. Any ideas?

Haven't researched my Harris line extensively. My earliest Harris ancestor is Robert Harris born c.1790 in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, UK - possibly the son of Robert & Mary Harris. Robert, his wife Sarah and their family including my ancestor Job Harris born 1826 moved to Halifax in West Yorkshire. Job's granddaughter Emily Harris was my great-grandmother.

I research the Harris family that lived mainly in Warren Co., New York. Descendants of Moses Harris, Sr. who moved there from Connecticut. The family originated in England.
