Hi cousins! I'm looking for Harringtons originating near Charlestown, County Mayo. My earliest ancestor found so far is Catherine Harrington, who was married to Bryan Egan my gg grandfather.

I am tracing my Harrington roots.  So far I've traced back to Frank Harrington in Providence RI born approximately 1846.

I am seeking a connection to a Harrington Family, unfortunately I am unsure where to look. My earliest ancestor is Timothy Harrington who immigrated in 1849, at about the age of 20. He settled in and around Syracuse, NY. He married a woman named Anne, possibly the woman who he rode the ship with, Nancy Barrett. He had a daughter named Lavina who married another Irishman named John Brennan. Timothy changed his name for the census records after the draft for World War I. He died in 1898 in Syracuse.

My Harrington connection is thru a Mary Harrington that married a John dragoo, son of Beltshazzar Dragoo from Ohio.  John and Mary Harrington dragoo had a son John Harrington Dragoo who is my ggrandfather.  They both died in Ky.  I cannot trace Mary.  Any help?

Wow, Jennifer, your group looks very smart! I've just set one up, it looks pitiful. Anyway, I'm an Irish Harrington, live in Dublin. Working on my family tree, my Harringtons are from Mitchelstown in Co. Cork. I'd love to hear from anyone with connections!
