I am searching for information regarding my gg-grandfather's family. His name was Robert Bascom Hall, b. Dec 18, 1878 in TX, d. Jan 13, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA. He married Cora Mary Hughes, b. Nov 8, 1889 in Alabama, unknown date of death but after 1943. They had four children, Ora Irene (my grandmother), b. 1907 in TX, Zora, b 1907 in TX, a son, W.P. Hall (per the 1920 US Census), b. 1911 in TX, and Dorothy, b. 1924 in Oklahoma. I am hoping that someone might know of this family, especially any information regarding Robert's father, John C. Hall, b. 1842 in Alabama and died around 1886 in Texas. Also, hoping to find out the actual name of their son, W.P. Thanks for any help!! Jodi....

A 2-nd great-grandfather, Colonel Joshua James HALL, was born ca. 1790 in Baltimore, Maryland. He married the widow Mahila Lee Roberts Sharp in Texas. Two children were born to this union. Their son, Horace, is my great-grandfather. My grandfather is Felix Roberts HALL.

My Western PA Halls are: James Marshall Hall 1828-1892, born in Washington County, Died in Lawrence County. Suspect his father is John Hall 1800-1873 died in Perry Township, Lawrence County, Pa. I am still proving this John Hall is the father of my James Marshall Hall. Most of the children of James Marshall Hall remained in Lawrence county. We are all trying to prove the same fact.
