I am descended from Philadelphia Rexs. My ancestor Barbara may have been a Greathouse (German). Her husband was Hans Jurg[umalut over "u" Ruger[again, umlaut over "u"]/George Rex/Georg Rugar. Anybody have Philadelphia Greathouses?

I am descended from James and Sarah McDade Greathouse and Samuel and Sudna Carpenter Tanner, both families which settled in what was to become Roane County, WV. My great grandmother was Minnora "Nora" Greathouse who married Mack H Lowery. Their son Earl Lowry was my grandfather (1896-1940).

My g-grandmother was Frona Greathouse (1890-1971), daughter of
William Michael Greathouse (1853-1906) and Sarah Jane Johnson. William is the son of Thomas Greathouse (1821-bef 1880) and Sarah Algood. Thomas is the son of Michael Greathouse and Debbie Snawder.
