I'm reseaching the Cadle and Whittington families. My great grandfather was William Cadle, he married Annie Caswell Whittington 14 Mar 1861. They had 11 children. William died at the age of 49 on 14 Nov 1878. I have found some information about the Cadle's but absolutely nothing about Annie's side of the family.

Just to introduce myself:

I was born and raised in Gloucester (the city) but for the majority of my life have lived outside the county. My ancestral lines seem to be principally from Herefordshire and the Forest of Dean though Wiltshire also plays some part. The families in which I have an interest are:

BEACH (Bream, Newland)
BEARD (Cliffords Mesne, Newent)
BENNETT (Gloucester & Wiltshire)
BYETT (Awre)
COLE (Brookthorpe, Eastington)
EUSTACE (Staverton)
HILL (Awre)
HOPKINS (Blakeney Hill)
JOHNSON (Blakeney Hill)
KEAR (Awre, Blakeney, Blakeney Hill, Bream, Clearwell, Newland, St Briavels)
MARSHALL (Awre)
MASON (Brierley)
PHILLIPS (Newland)
PREW (Snowshill, Winchcombe)
SIMS (Cliffords Mesne, Slimbridge, Taynton)
THOMAS (Bream)
TOWNSEND (Churchdown)
TURLEY (Blakeney Hill)
WATKINS (Cinderford)
WELLS (Taynton, Winchcombe)
WILKS/WILKES (Arle (Cheltenham), Boddington)
WILSE (Awre)
YEMM (Awre, Blakeney)

I hope there may be a degree of overlap with someone's researches.

Cheers,

Tony Williams
