Finding Census records for Sagan, Schlesien
My SCHULZ ancestors came from Sagan, Silesia, now Zagan in Poland. LDS has a few church records, but skip the years I need.
So far I have had no luck locating census records from there if any exist. Anyone know when the first Silesian Census was done on that part of Prussian-German Empire?

hi Dennis, I see you have one other reply to this. My suggestion is that the place could be one of two: Dorfprozelten and Stadtprozelten. The surnames are not families to me from the Dorfprozelten village but I am aware of Schrecks (various spellings) from a tiny hamlet near Stadtprozelten. Pauleen
