New Atlanta Newspaper resource
This just in from Dick Eastman's online Genealogy Newsletter:
"A new digital database providing online access to 14 newspaper titles published in Atlanta
from 1847 to 1922 is now available through the Digital Library of Georgia, housed at The
University of Georgia Libraries. The Atlanta Historic Newspapers Archive
(http://dlg.galileo.usg.edu/atlnewspapers) contains more than 67,000 newspaper pages and
provides historical images that are both full-text searchable and can be browsed by date."
You will need the FREE plug-in called DjVu to view the results.
