Hi Debra.
You are correct on Casandra Gntry's death date. 1843 was when S John Warren died. Does anyone have access to the marriage record of Cassandra & S John Warren? It might name her parents?

Hi Debra.
Casandra Gentry's Madiso, KY marriage record to S John Warren was dated Nov 1806. Pages 15 & 16, 1787-1844 Marriage Records of Madison, KY. Transcribed by Charlotte Ramsey. Marriage records from the Register of the KY Historical Society, page 198. They had 10 childrem born between 1808 & 1828.

I have Casandra Gentry death date as Dec 1826 in Kentucky. I not sure if this is right. But it may explain why she was not mentioned in her father's will.

I also descend from David Gentry & Mary Estes. I through their son Richard Gentry Sr 1763-1843 & Jane Harris and their daughter Casandra Gentry 1790-1866 who married S. John Warren. Cassandra was not mentioned in Richard's will but was born the same year as her sister Christy. Casandra was married in Nov 1806 to S John Warren in Madison County, Kentucky which was where Richard Gentry shows up in census records. I am looking for some solid documentation to link Casandra to father Richard. I can only be reached at BOBT3130@aol.com.

I am researching Gentrys in Pike and Clark Counties in Arkansas. Would gladly exchange information. They were in Stewart Co., TN and South Carolina before coming to Arkansas.

The Gentry family is not my direct line. Oney Gentry married John Cain ( was my 4th great grandfather) in 1892 in Madison County, Kentucky. Oney was John second wife. Oney was the daughter of David Gentry and Mary Estes. I would like to know more about this family.
