I loved the different charts you have. And the other items too, like the magnifier.
Maritha, I really like, your charts are they just for digital scrapbooking?
Maritha,

I appreciate your posting your products. However, please read the instructions on how to do it here. I really don't want to have links posted, I want actual products, pictures and/or descriptions, not an advertisement for a site., Can you please post some of your actual products.

Thanks!
Katrina, I guess I fail to comprehend how this is going to work. If you want people to post actual products, how are these products to be purchased? There is no shopping cart here. If the item is a graphic, how is that to be protected from a download?

Perhaps you could post some of your products here as an example of how you envision this group to work?
Hi Sherry,

I took your suggestion and uploaded one of my products. I was waiting for others to start as I did not want to give the impression this list was just for me to sell my own products. Basically what I am envisioning is a place where our members can page through what's here and see immediately what people are offering without having to click on a series of links and visit different stores. People will be less likely to do that. Once they see a product they like, then they will click on a link to go there. This is why I want products featured and not just links to stores. If you have twenty products, then feel free to make a post about each one, in the appropriate discussion. Along with the product, you can include a link of where to buy it or see more products. Does this make sense?
Yes! That makes perfect sense. I see you have created categories but, in order to do it the way you want, wouldn't it be easier for someone to just start a discussion like "Maritha Items", then post their items there, and they could just include on link to their page / site within the inital discussion, so that each discussion thread would be just that pesons items???

Am I making sense to you? When someone just post comments, it all gets run in a line, but each discussion would be a thread for just that seller.
Actually yes that does make sense and may be a better way. It is hard to do this within the limitations of this software. I guess I didn't think it through enough to realize there would be comments lol. So if people want to create categories for their own line of things that would be ok too. After we are going for a while we can re-evaluate, and maybe come up with something more ideal. The main thing I want are the images and descriptions, and not just links to websites. That is really my main consideration. Otherwise we might as well just create a links page lol.

Thanks for the suggestion, and I'm willing to try it.
Martha, I really liked the Collage sheet: 'Microslides Ladies #1'
Digital Genealogy Charts

These kits are digital products, meant to be used in graphics or scrapbooking programs, to add your own data and either print out or displayed digitally. They can also be printed out first as they are, and then your data scribed on afterward.

The family charts kit includes two versions each of a Family Group Sheet, Family Tree Sheet, Pictorial Pedigree Sheet, and an Individual Data Sheet, one version on a light background, and one version on the darker one. NOTE: These files will probably not work with Ancestry’s automated information system. I’m working on new versions for that. To print these charts through Ancestry, you will need to complete them first in a graphics program, and upload the completed files.

Please see uploaded files for examples of these charts in use. If you wish to get more information or purchase this pack, please email me at kat(at)genscraps(dot)com,. You can also purchase this and other products directly at Genscraps.

I really like those charts, well designed. I have never done digital scrapbooking, do do have a place where it gives exact step by step instructions - starting with downloading the pages?
Hi Elizabeth,

Do you belong to my "Scrapping Family History" group? You can get a lot of advice there. Also, I will be more than happy to help you get started. I have several people I am helping through email to begin learning digital scrapping. Please contact me personally if you would like some help with this. Right now I do not have tutorials on my site, though many can be found on the net. Drop me a line either on here or to my email which is kat(at)genscraps(dot)com.
