Joseph Barrett

Please, can anyone help me? I'm looking for some info on Joseph Barrett, born in Canada in 1812. I have no idea who his wife was. They did have a son John C. Barrett born in Montreal, Canada in Oct. 1843. I would also like to lnow who Joseph Barrett's parents were. All I know is a little about his mother. her surname was Flourmont and her father was a notiory in Paris. Both of Jpseph's parents were born in France. Joseph and his son emmigtrated to Seneca Falls, New York in 1852.
