Hi guys. I believe I am a distant relative on the Foster side. My lineage of the Foster goes from my grandfather Walter Roy Foster who's father is Arthur Eugene Foster (b.1901, missouri), and his father who is also Arthur (b.1871, iowa), and his father who is James M. Foster (b.1838, d.1883), and his mom and dad are Hiram Foster, and Sarah Roark. I hope to hear from you all real soon

Hello everyone.  I'm new to the FOSTER Family Group.  In trying to trace my FOSTER roots back as far as possible, last year I came across the book FOSTER GENEALOGY, written by Frederick Clifton Pierce.  Does anyone have any opinions on it's accuracy?  I'm particularly interested in the section titled: Descendants of John Foster of Kingsware.

Francis, I am descended from one of Elizabeth's brothers (Hiram). I do not have much information on Elizabeth's descendents or the Davis branch but I can provide you with some information on Elizbeth's Foster ancestors. If that is for what you are looking, please let me know an I can contact you directl. I'll be happy to share with you what I have.

I am a direct descendant of Elizabeth Foster through her daughter Julia Ann Davis. I am seeking any information on this branch of the family.

Hello. I am related to Mable Marie Foster Bitner. She was born possibly in Tipton, TN or IN about 1900 & died in Howard county, IN. I am looking for information on her family, parents, etc. Thanks.

Has anyone come across definitive evidence that a specific Alexander Foster was the father of James and grandfather of Michael? I have a fair amount of documentation about Michael, and some for James, but nothing definitive on Alexander. I've seen a lot of family trees and references showing the Alexander/James connection, but no real documentation or convincing proof. (Some of I've seen which mixes the similarly named father/son who were Steven Foster's ancestors). Any information that anyone has, or a direction in which to search, would be appreciated.

Bernie,

Perry, Frank's next oldest brother (b 1886), was my grandfather. My Dad mentioned his Uncle Frank a couple of times.

If my records are correct, your father was also a Perry Foster.
