Comment by Sharon Mattes (nee Fitzgerald) on March 3, 2014 at 10:41am: Lookiing for family history on Thomas and Catherine Fitzgerald from St. Louis who moved to WV. Family were related to the Fitzgerald Plumbing family in Saint Louis. My dad was their only child Thomas A. Fitzgerald. Need to find Kathy Kissel who is related and lives in St. Louis. She would be 70. Other names related are Lawler, O' Brien, and Mockler.

-Thomas (most likely the imm. ancestor during the 1700s - Montgomery Co, PA)
-William married Elizabeth Kustert or Blackburd (Custer??)
-John married Sarah Larkin in 1852
-William married Rebecca Groff in 1880
-James Wendell married Maggie May Hunsberger in 1901
-Catherine Rebecca married Frank Wolf in 1939 (my grandparents)

Comment by John Rosser on August 5, 2009 at 12:35pm: My Fitzgeralds come from Tralee, Kerry, Ireland starting with John FITZGERALD (cir 1797 - 1862) m. cir 1816 Mary BARTON (cir 1799 - 1874). They had 11 children: Patrick (b. 1817), Elizabeth (b. 1818), Maurice (b. 1822), John (b. 1823), Dennis (b. 1825), Mary (b. 1827), Thomas (b. 1829), Ellen (b. 1831), Bridget (b. 1835), Gerald (b. 1838) and Catherine Mary Dugdale (b. June 1840, at sea). Entire family emmigrated to South Australia in 1840 on Mary Dugdale. I am descended from Bridget.

Fitzgerald on July 15, 2009 at 2:42pm: I am looking for information on John Fitzgerald who was born around 1810 in Ireland and his wife Emily Tennyson who was born in Ireland or England around 1820. Their first son, William was born in New York in 1840. My GGGrandFather was born in 1848 in Danville, Pennsylvania. Any help with John and Emily would be awesome! I've been stuck on these two for almost 10 years now.
