Yes Kelly, I've been experiencing the same problem also lately.

Findagrave.com  has been real slow loading pages these past few months. Anyone else experiencing this? It could be my own browser.

Not nearly as many photos as findAgrave, but there are a few thousands photos of grave/tombstones I've put together here http://tinyurl.com/3o5zocx

For a Cemetery transfer on F.A.G., I would email them and ask them to transfer it. You will need your F.A.G. number and theirs. It will probably take some time for them to do this, but it should be no problem.

Great job memoralizing an abandoned cemetery. From what I have seen in central KY these cemeteries are fast disappearing.

Darlina, as far as I know, only the Admins can transfer an entire cemetery. I don't think you need to transfer it. Anyone can add records to it any time. Even tho you set it up, it is available for others for adding memorials. If anyone wants a memorial or memorials, you could makes transfers when requested. Perhaps someone will ask for it.

How do I transfer an entire cemetery to someone? It is an abandoned cemetery in Miami County, Indiana. I read an article about the cemetery this weekend, set up the cemetery, and put the known burials on FindAGrave. Someone else wants to take over the cemetery, adding what they have and I would like to give the entire cemetery to him to take care of. How do I do that?

I am from Clinton, Iowa,  and they had a problem with the town of Lyons , Iowa  and the old timers said that the line netween Clinton Ans Lyons was the big tree  which is now 13 Ave. North and @nd St. co i use lyons as Lyons twn. as that is what it was called at that time and i made notes as to the changing from 1898 to 1902  it dependecd on who you talked to. so we have a laugh to day.

Yes, I see what you're saying. It just gets confusing as sometimes a person is born in Hampshire, Virginia, dies in the same place, but it's then called Hampshire, West Virginia. I wonder if it's not better to make it all what we know today, and put in the note of what it was at the time.

What i do  is make a note in the note section of your file  i got a problems with Hattiesburg, Ms. bef 1910 it was in Jones co. and in the 1910 census it was nowm namesd in Forrest co. Ms.   and in my home town  Columbus, Ms. it was in Alabama tell the late1890  they moved the line east ward about 7 to 8 miles east so the ten tom river is not the state lineany more   as i say i have asked the same question and the local Historian said to list it as per records but place a note sayin g the other  I hope this answer your question
