Welcome to the Egbert Family Group !

First let me introduce my self, my name is Debra Egbert- Foster. I have been a genealogiest for about ten years. Compare to some, I guess you could say that I'm a newbie.

My Egbert Family start's with Govert (Egbert Sanders/Sanderson) Egbert. Govert was born April, 1641 in Frisland, Netherlands and died unknown. Govert was married twice, 1st to Harmentje Harmens in 1657, 2nd to Femmeje Jans in 1674.

When the Egbert's came to the New World, they settle in New Amsterdam( New York City). They also lived on Long Island, Staten Island, and in New Jersey, just to name a few.

Jesse was born 17 November 1832, Clinton, Seneca County, Ohio and died 5 April 1921, Sawtelle, Los Angles County, California. I would like to know if he was married and if he had children.
