Eastons of Ayshire, Scotland

My grandmother's name was Jane Easton Hunter Mcknight, daughter of Agnes Moffat & Alexander McKnight.  I would love to know where the surname Easton came from.  My grandmother named her son, my uncle, Alexander Easton.  Anyone have any idea where I should search?
