Comment by susan dyke on July 30, 2010 at 1:14pm: I married into the Dyke family and have traced the family back to Staffordshire/Shropshire. The family lived in the village of Gnosall until the mid 1800s before they began to moved to Rotherham, South Yorkshire then onto Hull, East Yorkshire.
