There are several unconnected Duncalf families in Cornwall. Every now and then I get a lead, but the Redruth ones are difficult. If you have a Duncalf from Cornwall please post what you have found!

My first Duncalf is my 5x Great Grandmother Mary Duncalf b. 1722 Redruth, daughter of Oliver Duncalf b. 1681 Gunwalloe d. 1750 Redruth, son of Henry. I am interested in contacting others researching the Cornwall Duncalfs.
Catherine, I put quite a bit about the Gunwalloe Duncalfs in the last Dossier. There are documents on the TNA website regarding land holdings that could connect the earliest Gunwalloe family with the very early family (1590s) at St Neots. I am going to TNA on the 8th August to look at subsidy rolls and I have picked out 4 for Gunwalloe to look at - 1624, 1624/5, 1593 and 1597. Perhaps I should try for some at St Neots as well but another time. I want to concentrate on the Macclesfield and Northwich (Cheshire) areas as well, and I will be ordering some Star Chamber cases 1509 onwards. I only have a day so may not be able to look at everything I want to see, but there will be other opportunities.
Hi Anne,
I was a member of your group a number of years ago but did not renew my subscription to the Dossier as I was really only interested in the Cornwall Duncalfs. Is it possible only to buy the Dossiers that have articles about the Cornwall Duncalfs?
Hope you find some good information at the archives. I am interested in anything you find for the Gunwalloe family.
I'll post the article to the Duncalf facebook page at the weekend - I actually have a free one for a change! I think it will be too long to go on here. Not sure whether I have put a link on here to the facebook page - will do so if not. Anne
Thanks for that but I can't find the facebook link.
Catherine
Found the link :-)
