Finding the Children and Marriages
I wonder what records exist that would enable us to document the marriages and children of the families. I think my ancestor Joseph Peavler was actually the son of Ulrich Beeler. I'd like to find the last name of Ulrich's wife (if possible). Joseph married Mary Ann Ridge and I think it's likely that her family was in this community too. Thank you.

A few years ago, I read a journal that had marriages and deaths for the Watauga area. It was on the internet, but I am not sure it is still there, or if I can find where I saved the URL to this journal. I read the whole thing, and it was inconsistent, but at least it was something. I would try finding church records in the area.
