Hello
My 4x great grandparents were William Moffat (b.1782 West Linton,Peebleshire) who married Christina (Christian) Bain (b.1786 West Linton,Peebleshire).
My 3x great grandparents were William Moffat (b.1817 West Linton,Peebleshire) he married Alison Brown (b. 1819 Edinburgh).

William and Alison immigrated to New Zealand and that's where my 2x great grandmother Marion Moffat was born (b.1861 Otago,New Zealand. d.1904 Warepa,Otago,Nz) she married William Ross (b.1855 Victoria, Aust. d. 1904 Warepa,Otago,Nz).

I have been working on the McAfee line and Daniel had two daughters who married into the Moffit line. Arabella McAfee b. 1827 Perry Co Pa married Frances "Frank" Moffit 1855 in Cedar Co Iowa. Her sister Rebecca Stevenson McAfee b 1838 married Frank's brother Thomas 12 Sept 1855 in Mechanicsville, Cedar Co Iowa. I have information on Frank and Tom's parents William and Elizabeth Armstrong Moffie from Ireland. Willing to share

Hello!

I believe that my ancestor, John Allen (b.1802 Bath, Lincoln, Maine, d.1887) married Mary Silence Moffat (b.1813 New York, d.1880 New York). Mary Silence Moffat was the daughter of John Little Moffat Jr. and Hannah Curtis. Mary Silence Moffat is person #I4187 on the Clan Moffat Genealogy (Family ID F2728). I was so excited to see how my information on Mary Silence's ancestry fit into the Clan Moffat Genealogy.

I would be happy to provide the information that I have on Mary Silence Moffat and her descendants to anyone who is interested.
