My Butcher line starts in Nicholas County VA(WV) when Warwick Butcher married Mary Dilley in 1845. Warwick had many sons but died 1864 in a Confederate P.O.W. Camp at Rock Island Illinois. We have searched for years but never found Warwick's parents or where he came from to WV.
In 1850 Warwick appears in Nicholas County VA(WV) with his brother Thomas and sisters Susan and Nancy.
