Baltimore County, is a bill of complaint that lists the siblings of
Josias, and the children of his siblings. This court case was so that
property owned by Josias could be sold. The document states that Josias
died about 25 years ago, and that his wife Elizabeth died last year.
The Bill of Complaint of Thomas F. Burton and Laura Burton, his wife of

1st that Josias Burton, late of Baltimore County, deceased, departed
this life about twenty five years ago intestate, seiged and possessed of
a lot of ground containing about three acres of land, improved by a
comfortable dwelling house, located near Providence, Baltimore County,
Md. A full and particular ?? ?? may be seen by reference to a deed from
John W. Shanklin and wife a certified copy of which deed is file
herewith as part hereof and marked Plaintiff's Exhibit "A"
2nd That said Josias Burton, deceased, left surviving him a widow
Elizabeth Ann Burton, who sometime in the year 1903 departed this life
and also as his heirs and next of kin the following named persons, 1st
the children of his deceased brother Joshua Burton, viz. Charles Burton
whose wife's name is Daisy Burton, who reside at Copper Factory,
Baltimore County, Md. Second Levi Burton, whose wife's name is Alice
Burton, whom reside at Helltown, Baltimore County, Md. Third, Edward
Burton, a widower resides at Canton, Baltimore County, Md., Fourth Delia
who married Thomas Simms, and resides at Cub Hill Baltimore County,
Md., Fifth Mary who married Andrew Simms, and they also reside at Cub
Hill, Baltimore County, MD.
Second the children of his deceased brother Thomas Craddock Burton, viz:
George Burton (unmarried), Eleanor Cubson who married - - - - - Cubson,
the residence of the last above named are unknown to your grantors and
they ?? and believe that they are non - residents of the State of
Maryland.
Third, the children of his deceased sister Jane Linigan, viz: Mary A.
