Paul James Brown/Powers Tree

My grandfather is Paul James Brown (possibly Wilmington, DE), DOB 9/18/1893, DOD 7/4/1953.  I cannot find any info about his father.  His mother is Emma Emily Powers  (DOB:  7/13/1866 in Pottsville, PA) and her parents are Patrick Powers and Bridget Murphy.  I heard somewhere that there was an adoption in his family with the possible name of Hugh McLaughlin Brown, but cannot find any info on this person.  Emma Emily Powers Brown possibly lived in NJ, and in Phila, and Paul James Brown also lived in Phila.

Paul James Brown had sisters Helen and Emily, and a brother Joseph.
