Comment by Carmel M Reynen on November 19, 2012 at 3:18am Just a follow up on Alfred Woodhead born a year earlier than I thought with no registration well I found it. He was Alfred Townley Woodhead! and not Alfred Benjamin as was stated. I found on it on Find my past. I knew his birthday (thanks to his daugther's birthday book) and family search had this date. I then checked family search and it was correct, however they did have his grandparents listed as his parents (another reason we had problems tracking him) sent for his birth certificate and that had the right parents. Another gap filled!
Comment by Marlene Miller on November 7, 2012 at 8:23am I'm searching for information on my paternal great and great great grandfathers. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Here's what I know: My grandfather was Charles Levi Miller born 11 jul 1863 in Windham, Bradford, PA and died 13 May 1913 in Corning, Steuben, NY. He married Winifred F. Turner born 19 May 1870 in Newport, Monmouth, Wales UK and died 21 Nov 1949 in North Tonawanda, Niagara, NY. Charles' father was William Miller born 6 Mar 1815 in PA, and died 9 May 1899 in Nichols, Tioga, NY. William married Mary Ann Shipman born 14 Oct 1820 in PA and died Nov 1887 in Nichols, Tioga, NY. I believe that William's father was also a William born about 1785 in MA and may have married Ann Buck. If so this William died in Litchfield, Bradford, PA after 1850. Ann Buck was born in 1804 in Easton, Bristol, MA and also died in Litchfield aft 1850, so she certainly fits as his wife, if he is actually the father of my William, however since I haven't been able to find any information on him, I have no idea if he is the correct parent. He is my brick wall. I have been unable to take that line of my father's family back any farther than this. Any input, ideas or help most appreciated.
Comment by Brenda Cox Stetson on October 29, 2012 at 8:55am I have been looking for parents of Isaac Cox who married Mary Wise, I think in Greene Co, PA since that is where I'm told they moved from to WV. They show up in WV census in mid-1800's, BUT I find more than one Isaac Cox in WV and haven't been able to make a definite connection to who his parents were. Any help would be appreciated.

Comment by Pamela Ann Drake on September 11, 2012 at 1:09pm Lisa, I have a copy of theland deed that William & Mary Drake was given when they bought the land in Harrison Co.,OH. Yes, I've followed them thru the census. Could you please tell me who William's grandparents are listed in the one thing you found? As far as I know they weren't born in Frederick Co.,MD. but this might be a new clue. Thanks! Elizabeth Hinkle & her sisterswere born in Frederick Co.,MD. though for sure!
