Moses Weems is mentioned in http://henrycountyalabama.wetpaint.com/page/Henry+County+History and a book called Backtracking in Barbour county, a narrative of the last Alabama frontier which you should be able to source from a local library.

Thanks Sharon, I'll try to find the book.  I already have the other info on early pioneers of Abbeville, AL which included my gggrandfather Moses Weems.
